The Annual Steak Dinner is a tradition celebrated in Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation. Originated in Memphis and dubbed the “Steak & Burger Dinner”, this event came with a twist. While Club Members dined on steaks, adults feasted on hamburgers. Since its inception over 40 years ago, the event has evolved nationwide to include Annual Steak & Steak Dinners and, in Tampa, the Annual Steak Dinner.
This event is an opportunity for every guest, including donors, community partners and volunteers, to meet with and hear from the direct beneficiaries of their efforts - our Club Members. Youth sit at every table and are given the chance to share their story of how Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay has had a positive impact on their lives and what the Club means to them. The event includes a delicious dinner, live entertainment, chance and live auctions, and loads of fun for everyone involved.
