Vinik Family Donates Funds for Renovation of Winston Park Boys & Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay is completely renovating and expanding the Winston Park Recreation Center, President and CEO Chris Letsos announced during an event at the center on Monday, March 7. The renovation is being made possible with the largest individual gift ($2.5 million) in the 90-year history of the organization in Tampa Bay – by the Vinik Family Foundation. 3rd Annual Great Futures Breakfast Raises $900,000 for Youth
The 3rd Annual Great Futures Breakfast on December 18th raised $900,000 to benefit the more than 11,000 young people served by Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay. Jeff and Penny Vinik served as venue sponsors for the third year in a row, donating the Amalie Arena for the event and transforming the arena floor to accommodate more than 800 guests. The one-hour program included Tony LaRussa, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay Alumnus, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Famer. READ MORE

Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay and Olive Garden Celebrate Great Futures with Special Pasta Meal Delivery for Club Youth
Youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay will kick-off the new school year and celebrate their great futures with a special meal delivery from Olive Garden. The Brandon Olive Garden will deliver pasta, salad and bread sticks to serve 100 youth at the Bill Carey Brandon Club.  The Brandon Club joins more than 700 Clubs nationwide who are partnered with local Olive Garden restaurants and will receive the afterschool pasta meal delivery for their youth members on September 22, 2014. READ MORE
