100 YEARS OF IMPACT
Our Centennial is not just a celebration of the last 100 years. It is a promise for the next 100. It marks a bold, transformative moment to expand what’s possible for young people across Tampa Bay and to invite our community to help build something greater, together.
For 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay has empowered young people to discover their potential and shape their futures. Since the Tampa Rotary established the West Tampa Boys Club in 1926, our organization has grown alongside the communities we serve, expanding access, evolving programs, and responding to the changing needs of youth and families across Tampa Bay.
Across decades of growth and change, one belief has remained constant: every child deserves a place that believes in them. Our Clubs have provided more than after-school care. They have offered belonging, opportunity, mentorship, and hope to generations of young people. From academic support and healthy meals to leadership development, workforce readiness, and wellness programming, our mission has always been rooted in helping young people succeed in school, in work, and in life.
During our Centennial, we honor a legacy built on safety, opportunity, and unwavering belief in the promise of every young person. At the same time, we recognize that the needs of youth are evolving, and so must we. Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is more committed than ever to preparing youth and young adults to be future-ready, providing life-changing programs, real-life experiences, and clear pathways to success.
