YOUTH
OF THE
YEAR

YOUTH OF THE YEAR
Opening Doors to Great Futures

Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club kid can receive. The teen selected to be the National Youth of the Year represents Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the voices of millions of Club youth. And for more than 75 years, the Youth of the Year program has recognized young people for their outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to health and wellbeing.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we believe every young person has what it takes to reach their potential. Each day across the nation, we support more than 5,400 Boys & Girls Clubs in providing opportunities and experiences for America’s kids and teens to thrive. Having a place to belong and someone who believes in you can have a powerful impact. Our Youth of the Year are a shining example of this and exemplify what it means to be a Club kid.

introducing
Amora B.

Amora is a Senior at Patel High School and a shining example of the values we hold dear, as Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay's 2025 Youth of the Year!  She is 18 years old and has been a dedicated member of the Freddie Solomon Boys & Girls Club for 10 years. The words tenacious and auspicious describe her perfectly!  Throughout her journey, she has consistently demonstrated the heart and determination that inspires all who know her.

In addition to her remarkable achievements within our Club, Amora is also an active leader in her church community, where she continues to make a positive impact. After graduation, she plans to take her passion and drive to Southeastern University, where we know, she will continue to thrive and achieve greatness.

"My Boys & Girls Club experience taught me that failure is simply a perspective. It will only become a limit if YOU ALLOW it to."
