Boys & Girls Clubs And Coke Florida Partner To Inspire Young Women In Sports

TAMPA, Fla. – Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast and Tampa Bay, in collaboration with Coca-Cola Beverages Florida (Coke Florida), are providing young women with hands-on career exploration in the sports industry. This initiative builds upon a long-standing partnership between the organizations.
A key component of this collaboration is an exclusive panel-style event designed to offer an inspiring look into professional pathways within the sports field, empowering the next generation of female leaders.
The “Future Leaders Academy – Career Panel & Bottling Facility Tour” will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC, located at 9102 Sabal Industrial Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619.
The event will feature a panel discussion with sports industry professionals, including Becky Bonner, a Boys & Girls Club alum and Director of Player Development & Basketball Operations for the Orlando Magic. The panel will explore career opportunities in Sports Marketing, with a focus on highlighting the importance of female representation in leadership positions.

This initiative is a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Coca-Cola Company, and Coke Florida, the local Coca-Cola bottler. It reflects a shared commitment to equipping youth with diverse career exposure, mentorship, and real-world industry insights to prepare them for life after high school.
