Area Councils are integral to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s organizational structure. Area Councils provide engagement and feedback to BGCA on important strategic initiatives and changes to membership, educate and motivate board volunteers, promote the growth, development, and effectiveness of the Boys & Girls Club Movement, and identify and execute strategic priorities from the Movement’s Strategic Direction, Future Ready, to ensure the collective achievement of stated goals.
